Meet our people

David is a successful serial entrepreneur in different businesses and has extensive experience in the financial industry. He started his career in January 2005 working in fixed income trading at JP Morgan. He then worked for Rothschild multi-asset solutions from December 2007 to June 2011, managing portfolios for international institutional clients and Ultra High Net Worth clients. He rejoined JP Morgan in 2011 and became one of the youngest Managing Directors in the private bank while also elected Fixed Income personality of the year in the United Kingdom in 2017. In 2018, David cofounded Aperture Investors, a new asset manager aiming to disrupt the industry, in which Generali Investments committed a $4 billion seed investment.
David acts as an advisor to institutional investors and family offices around the world. He successfully worked on very complex transactions in different sectors, helping principals sell or restructure their businesses.
David holds a MSc in Finance from Audencia Nanters and an MBA from Georgia State University. He also attended the MIT program on Innovation and Technology. David is a passionate global citizen who likes making meaningfully impact in all his pursuits.

He has over 15 years of experience in asset raising in Europe for Lombard Odier IM and BNY Mellon IM. Specifically, until 2016, Matthieu headed the distribution of all French speaking clients for BNY Mellon. He was also responsible for setting up and running their French office.
Matthieu has an outstanding track record of capital raising across asset classes from plain-vanilla to the most complex strategies including illiquid and liquid alternatives, and multi-assets wrapped in either UCITs and Offshore investment vehicles, or bespoke mandates.
Matthieu holds a BSc in Business & Management from Louis Pasteur University in Finance and Statistics, from DeMontfort University and MSc in Finance from Montpellier Business School. He is passionate about sports, travels, food & wine and most importantly his three daughters.

Prior to joining Alumia, Evita held a product specialist and sales role at Aperture Investors and she also spent 7 years at J.P. Morgan Private Bank on the Manager Solutions team conducting investment due diligence and research on mutual funds, both in London and New York.
Evita holds a BSc in Investments and Financial Risk Management from Cass Business School and an MSc in Management from Imperial College. Evita spends most of the year in Greece where she competes as a triathlete and marathon runner.

With over 20 years of experience in major financial institutions, he has expertise in Banking (Private Banking, CIB, Global Custody), Asset Management (Super Mancos, Transfer Agent, Central Admin), and Securities Services. His roles have included business analysis, operational coordination, and client-focused strategies.
Jérôme has held positions from Analyst to Chief Compliance Officer/MLRO, Conducting Officer, and Executive Committee Member of Super Mancos and Banks. He has worked with diverse investors, contributed to establishing branches across Europe, and facilitated the transfer of business lines from the UK to Luxembourg during Brexit.
Beginning as an External Auditor and later an Internal Auditor, he has engaged with supervisory authorities, reinforcing his strong control mindset. Passionate about banking and asset management, Jérôme possesses extensive knowledge of compliance processes, has trained employees on compliance requirements, and chaired compliance committees.

Prior to joining Alumia, Kyle spent 17 years in the asset and wealth management industry, primarily at J.P. Morgan, where he worked in the London and New York offices. At J.P. Morgan, he led the due diligence and manager selection of equity fund managers and played a key role in the development of customised specialist investment solutions for private client portfolios. Following that, Kyle ran his own independent consultancy where he advised asset management groups on strategic initiatives with a focus on business development, manager due diligence, investment product development and strategy, and asset raising opportunities.
Kyle holds a BSc in Operations Research from Columbia University. An avid traveler, Kyle has lived in three countries and has travelled to over 40 countries in the world.

Prior to joining Alumia, Sumer founded the capital markets division at Mazars Luxembourg and was the lead SPAC Expert. He dominated the Luxembourgish SPAC market and helped make Mazars Luxembourg the leader in SPAC transactions in Luxembourg.
He also worked with the Corporate Finance division at Mazars, performing valuation for M&A transactions and specializing in the valuation of alternative assets such as VC, PE, and Real Estate. Sumer has expertise in Technology, Lifesciences, Software, and Automotive industries.
Sumer has advised several executives of top-tier financial institutions. He was previously involved in managing PE and Hedge Fund clients at Apex Fund Services and also worked in the Financial Crimes and Due Diligence division of EY India.
Sumer holds a BSc in Financial Markets from Mumbai University and an MSc in Financial Markets & Investments from SKEMA Business School, Paris, specializing in M&A and Private Equity. He is a mixologist, enthusiastic about whisky and wine, and an avid traveler, who loves to hike. Sumer enjoys Jazz and Hip-Hop music and is known to enjoy seasoned Cuban Cigars in the evenings.

He brings over 25 years of experience in capital markets, wealth management, and fund distribution. He held senior roles in Switzerland, Italy, and the UK, including Managing Director at Global Funds Distribution SA and Co-Founder & CEO of GFE Marketing Support Ltd.
He is Co-Founder of FundsGate SA and Pragmatik Innovation, driving strategic advisory and digital innovation initiatives.

Prior to Alumia, Catarina spent nearly eight years at Mecalbi Engineering Solutions in Portugal, where she led the company's external communications, managed social media platforms, produced visual and technical content, and organized national and international events and trade shows.
She holds a Master's degree in Graphic Design and a Bachelor's in Organizational Communication.
Catarina is passionate about travel, nature, world geography and loves exploring new cultures.

She began her career in professional sports before moving into finance, gaining substantive experience at Schroders Investment Management and Barclays Wealth. In recent years, she has been actively involved in the European startup landscape, working with leading accelerators, founders, and public–private initiatives to scale innovative companies, structure partnerships, and support entrepreneurship across multiple countries.
Having grown up and worked in international environments, Olga combines a rigorous analytical foundation with extensive cross‑border leadership experience. She also shares this expertise through teaching roles in leading French universities. Her academic background includes an engineering degree, an MBA from ESLSCA, and a finance degree from HEC.

Bruce has over 40 years’ experience in the global financial services industry, providing a range of audit and consulting services to global financial service companies. Until 2008, Bruce was a partner at PwC in charge of a number of Asset Management and Wealth Management clients. During his time at PwC, Bruce was global leader of PwC’s Private Banking and Wealth Management practice. Since leaving PwC, Bruce set up Weatherill Consulting and provides consulting services to Wealth Management Companies around the world.
Bruce was until 2019 a Non-Executive Director of Fidelity Holdings (UK) Limited and Chairman of its Audit and Risk Committee. He is Non-Executive Director of The All England Lawn Tennis Club and a Committee member. He is Chairman of ClearView Financial Media (WealthBriefing) and the Wisdom Council and a Non-Executive Director of ComPeer Limited. He was previously Chairman of JDX Consulting and Ten Lifestyle Group Plc.

Fabiana is the Founder & CEO of Motus Hub, an ecosystem dedicated to sustainable solutions and emerging ventures. She also serves as Partner at Fundsgate, where she leads marketing and business development initiatives, including the Lifestyle & Family Office segment.
She holds a Swiss Federal Certificate as a Marketing Specialist and is fluent in Italian, French, German, and English.

He leads the sourcing of investment solutions, due diligence, and the enhancement of strategic approaches for institutional clients. With over 17 years of experience in banking and asset management—including roles at Fidelity International and J.P. Morgan—he brings deep expertise in rules‑based strategies, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and ETF research. Skilled in instrument selection and market structure, he is also a regular conference speaker on passive investment and quantitative approaches.

Charles is a seasoned investment and business professional with 20 years of experience. Prior to Alumia, he was Head of Absolute Return funds from 2013 to 2019 managing liquid multi-asset portfolios and Head of Risk at Tailor AM from 2019 to 2021. Prior to joining Tailor AM, Charles was member of investment committee at Amundi Private Equity Fund and managed several private equity funds as well as quantitative researcher at Société Générale, leading a team of econometricians from 2004 to 2007. He began his career in 2001 as a fixed income and currency trader for JP Morgan.
He is the co‑founder of Solarius Acquisitions, a SPAC dedicated to wealth and asset management, and has served on investment and risk committees of asset management firms since 2007.
Due to his significant experience investing in liquid and illiquid assets, financial data and risk management, Charles has successfully advised Ultra High Net Worth clients, family offices, hedge funds and provided strategic advice to asset management groups.
Charles holds a Master’s in Management from NEOMA Business School and an International Master's in Business Administration from Cox Business School (Southern Methodist University) and completed the Harvard Business School Online Certified Program in Alternative investments. Driven by an infinite curiosity for everything, he loves trading, foods and wine, and sports.

With over 24 years of experience, Shady currently serves as a policy advisor to a government office in Abu Dhabi, providing economic and policy insights while in his previous role focused on fiscal policy, he played a pivotal role in enhancing the government's financial management capabilities. Shady has consistently delivered impactful solutions which extend to the private sector, where he led macroeconomic research efforts at Emirates NBD PJSC, earning recognition for his thought leadership and strategic foresight in navigating dynamic economic landscapes.
Recently, he completed a Master's degree in Big Data and Business Analytics, eager to apply this expertise to pioneer AI integration, enhancing data-driven decision-making and policy innovation at a leadership level.

Mohsen brings over 35 years of experience in asset management across both traditional and alternative investments. A former Managing Director at PIMCO, he led the StocksPlus enhanced equity portfolios, contributed to the Dynamic Bond team, and served as a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to PIMCO, he spent 11 years at Moore Capital Management and held earlier roles at Tokai Bank, Salomon Brothers, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, and the World Bank Group. His background combines deep macro insight, quantitative expertise, and a long track record managing complex, multi‑asset strategies.

Steve is the Co‑Founder and Managing Partner of Alchemy Investment Management and serves as Principal at MSP Sports Capital, where he focuses on investments in professional sports businesses. He previously held senior leadership roles as Vice Chairman of The Roosevelt Investment Group and CEO of Seaport Investment Management. With extensive experience across credit opportunities, SPACs, and alternative investments, he brings a broad strategic perspective to complex investment environments. Steve is also a licensed attorney, adding legal and structural expertise to his advisory work.

Stuart is the Founder and CEO of MoneyPlace, a leading marketplace lender, and serves as Chairman of Fintech Australia, where he also founded the National Fintech Census. He is a member of the Australian Government’s Fintech Advisory Group and a Board member of Fintech Victoria, contributing to the development of the country’s financial innovation ecosystem. Previously Head of Strategy at NAB Business, he also worked at Bain & Company advising financial institutions across APAC and the US. His experience spans fintech leadership, strategic growth, and innovation in lending and financial services.

Michael is the Co‑Founder and Managing Partner of Glocal My Business and the Founder and CEO of Econetworks Holding GmbH. He previously co‑founded Modulyte and currently serves as a Board Member at Clean Earth Acquisitions Corp., as well as Interim COO at Atlant 3D Nanosystem. He is also Co‑Founder and Managing Partner at Ecoworks. With extensive experience in global market entry, corporate governance, sustainability, and strategic partnerships, Michael brings a cross‑sector perspective and a strong track record of building and scaling high‑impact ventures across international markets.

Vincent brings more than 32 years of experience in Asian private equity, with a track record of over 80 technology and growth investments. He is a Partner at Beyond Ventures and previously served as Head of Asia at Samena Capital. Before that, he was the Founding CEO of Spring Capital and a Managing Director at JAFCO Asia. A CFA charterholder with a BA from the University of Hong Kong and an MBA from Manchester, Vincent is Co‑President of the HKVCA and serves on several HKEX committees. He has been consistently ranked among China’s top venture capitalists by Zero2IPO and Forbes.

Ivano brings over 20 years of experience in investment management and regulatory compliance, with deep expertise in Luxembourg’s legal and supervisory framework. He previously served as Head of Portfolio Management at FundRock LIS, where he oversaw ESG, tax, and KYA frameworks and acted as a board member for funds exceeding €2 billion in assets. His earlier roles at the European Investment Fund and JPMorgan involved leading cross‑border finance and regulatory initiatives. Ivano’s background combines strong governance, ESG knowledge, and technical expertise across alternative assets and regulated fund structures.
