Eddie Chen

Managing Director, Alternatives

Eddie is a senior member in the Alternatives team and is responsible for growing and building our private equity business, with a focus on China. He sits on the Investment Committee of the Fullerton Carbon Action Fund. Eddie joined Fullerton in 2022. He was previously with Eurazeo, a leading French investment group since 2013, where he served as the Senior Partner and Head of China. He established Eurazeo’s China Office with a high-profile investment team covering China, East Asia, and Southeast Asia, with a strategic focus on cross-border investment and M&A between Western and Chinese markets. Prior to Eurazeo, Eddie held senior positions at Invest Sweden Agency (Swedish governmental organization) as Vice President and Chief China Representative. He established Invest Sweden’s China mission and the United Nations Development Programme in New York as the Chief of Information Technology Group. He holds a Master of Science from New York University and a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from Eastern Michigan University.
